Really nothing extraordinary, but just what you need id the side pocket of the backpack. The zipper is covered to provide additional water resistance and protection from abrasion and dirt. A vertical strap on the front keeps the backpack's compression straps in place over the bag, also allowing them to properly compress the pannier. They can also be used as attachment points for bungee cords, carabiners and similar things.
A 25mm wide webbing loop and D-shaped ring at the top of the rear inner panel allow you to secure small and important items, while a flat back compartment provides basic organization for smaller items. Bottom section lined with 210D polyamide for extra abrasion resistance. The grommet provides drainage of water that may enter the pouch.
PALS assembly
On the back there is a standard PALS fastening system with tabs. The most central horizontal rows of webbing were eliminated because they didn't really do anything except increase the weight. We are not a manufacturer of ultralight equipment, but even we do not like unnecessary weight.
Optimal attachment requires a width of three channels and a height of five (min. four) rows of PALS tape. Your side compression straps, when tightened, will eliminate any movement of the pouch and its contents.

SAMPLE USE CASES
As a rather small pocket with a capacity of only four liters, it is perfect for small backpacks with limited height/width on the sides. Here are some examples of what you can fit into one of them:
1) Medium-sized tarp and accessories
2) Lightweight down jacket, rain suit or poncho
3) A regular 1.5-liter soda bottle and a few other things
4) Insulated food jar with a capacity of 0.7 liters
5) Jetboil stove and one gas cartridge
