NEW VERSION enables:

Positioning the pot and fast cooking directly over the kettle chimney, while the kettle is boiling.
Kettle stabilization on uneven ground. Use the grate to level uneven ground under a fire base or simply to eliminate scorch marks on lawns, wooden patios and picnic tables. Simply turn upside down and use under the fire base of the kettle. When used underneath, the saucer will remain cool to the touch while the kettle above it boils.

Note: When cooking on top using a saucer the kettle must always be FULL of water. Never use the kettle without water or let it boil to dry, as this will overheat the internal chimney and may damage the kettle.
