Polar heads are a development of the classic Scandinavian heads manufactured by Laurin. Thanks to the enrichment of the head with "Ricasso", the knife binding becomes even easier, and the fit of the guard is ideal. Polar heads are ideal for making a versatile knife for everyday use.
Marking. Polar heads have an applied brand logo, which, depending on the production version, can be embossed (older series) or engraved (newer series).

Polar heads manufactured in Finaland by the Laurim company and are used for the manufacture of handmade Scandinavian knives (puukko, leuku). Polar head is made of high quality stainless steel with very good parameters - hardness as high as 57-58 HRC!. Head with very high corrosion resistance, long holding sharpness.
