Polar 125 Carbon (Carbon Steel) head.
Polar heads are a development of the classic Scandinavian heads manufactured by Laurin. With the enrichment of the head with "Ricasso", the knife binding becomes even easier. Polar heads are ideal for making a versatile knife for everyday use.
Marking. Polar heads have an applied brand logo, which, depending on the production version, can be embossed (older series) or engraved (newer series).

- Hardness: 59 HRC
Polar heads manufactured in Finaland by the Laurin company and are used for the manufacture of handmade Scandinavian knives (puukko, leuku). Polar head is made of very good carbon steel with very good parameters - hardness as high as 59 HRC!

An example of the use of a Polar head
Sharpening and maintenance. Don't make the tool too dull. Sharpen your knife on dedicated whetstones and sharpeners. Your tool should be cleaned, dried and oiled regularly. Especially after use in humid environments.
Be careful when using, the tool has sharp edges, risk of injury. Remember to keep the blade pointed outward from the body and away from bystanders. Use with protective gloves, store in a safe place. Keep away from children. Dispose of used product according to local regulations.
