AISI 420 (American Iron and Steel Institute) - martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon 0.15% and containing min. 12% chrome. In the annealed state, it has good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels 12-14% and hardness in the range 54 -56 HRC.
Head - type Clip Point, thickness 2.0 mm. Coated with carbon and fluorine containing scratch resistant black non-reflective coating PTFE, chemically inert synthetic polymer with hydrophobic properties and low friction coefficient. Plain blade Plain, brought out full flat grind (Full Flat) which, combined with the slight thickness of the blade, provides above-average cutting properties.
