Series Old Bear® is a line of luxury folding knives made by hand in Maniago, the famous Italian center of knife making. Each piece is unique, as the production process involves customized fitting of components and hand finishing. Subtle differences in wood texture or steel shade give each knife a unique character.
Blade type Clip Point was made of high quality stainless steel 1.4060, hardened to hardness 58 HRC. With a full flat grind and satin finish, the blade offers excellent cutting properties, high corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. Steel 1.4060 contains chromium, which forms a passive protective layer on the surface of the blade, increasing its durability and resistance to external factors. It's a material often used in tools that require precision and reliability.
The handle was made of natural black walnut wood (American Walnut), which is characterized by a warm shade of brown and elegant, distinctive grain.
