Nordic Knife Design - Santoku Head 165
After leaving as co-owner of Bris, Dennis Holmbacka founded Nordic Knife Design. Founded by a knife industry veteran as a designer and trader, NKD may be a new name, but behind it lies decades of experience. NKD knives are often minimalist in detail and have an elegant design, features that many would call traditional Scandinavian design. Form follows function. NKD uses the best factories used by many other top brands. With these blades, there is no question of quality issues.
Santoku 165 made of stainless steel 12C27, is an excellent blade perfectly suited for kitchen work. Its qualities will be appreciated by both the novice culinary fan and the professional chef. The shape of the blade makes it very easy to operate the knife, and the appropriate width of the blade prevents fingers from hitting the board.
Blade handle type full tang is long and full, which provides a firm grip while ensuring a well-balanced blade. Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, from which the Santoku 165 is made, is one of the most widely used stainless steels in Europe.
