Phantom Black Micarta, Satin, large hunting/tactical knife with full tang construction in X50CrMoV15 steel. The steel was subjected to CRYO-T cryogenic treatment, also known as steel freezing. This improves the hardness and strength of the wedge. Micarta handle, with red accents!
1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) - molybdenum-vanadium high-carbon, martensitic stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion and wear. Used in the manufacture of knives, high-end cutlery and surgical instruments. It is characterized by a fairly high hardness, as for stainless steels 56-58 HRC. The chemical composition of the steel was enriched by doping 15.0% Chromium, 0.80% Molybdenum, 0.20% Vanadium.
The steel was subjected to cryogenic treatment CRYO-T, also known as freezing. Thanks to CRYO-T we obtain homogeneous internal structure of steel which translates into a significant increase in the strength of the wedge, increasing resistance to impact, stress and torsion.
Head - wide, massive blade type Drop Point elegantly finished Satin-finished. Despite the thickness, the grind flat provides excellent cutting properties combined with outstanding durability. Slightly descending garda prevents fingers from slipping on the blade while working. On the back of the jimping blade, notching under the thumb.
Handle - rough facings made of Micarta (pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin), which were bolted to the tango. Contoured handle eliminates sharp edges for comfortable grip. The bolts are surrounded by red anodized aluminum circles. In the rear part, a protruding piece of tango can be used as an improvised glass breaker, includes a hole for threading a safety cable.
Vagina - hand-sewn, made of the highest quality cowhide in black with embossed manufacturer's logo. The edges of the case are stitched with decorative thread. Belt attachment allows the knife to be carried in an upright position upright.
Accessories - pendant made of rope and metal sleeve in red color.
