Husky Black Micarta, Satin incredibly durable full tang construction knife from Spanish company Muela. A perfectly balanced bushcraft knife with a blade made of Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel that provides tremendous cutting power. A tool that proves itself in a wide field of applications, during survival expeditions, camping, hunting. Durable, sturdy will endure work in all conditions without harm.

14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest development in the range of knife steels produced by Swedish Sandvik steel mills. An optimized chemical composition with a unique combination provides superior quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness and corrosion resistance. By reducing the amount of carbon 0.62% and increasing the chromium content 14.0%, as well as adding nitrogen 0.11%, corrosion resistance has been significantly improved. Considered an improved version of 13C26 steel. Unbeatable in the price / quality category!

Blade - 4 mm thick, with a modified Bowie profile, coated with a non-reflective Satin Finish (semi-matte) coating to eliminate glare. Made of Swedish Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel, hardened between 57-60 HRC. The steel is characterized by good mechanical properties and relatively long sharpness retention. The Plain type blade was derived with a Flat Grind. This grind reduced the weight of the knife and allows cutting with considerable force. The steel one-sided hilt prevents the hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle - profiled, covered with waterproof and non-slip 3D convex Micarta grips in black (Black Micarta). The coverings provide excellent grip and secure grip also with wet hands. The covers are attached with solid screws directly to the tang. In the back of the Handle there is a hole for a rope.

Sheath - extended, protecting the Blade along with part of the Handle. Made of natural leather in black with embossed Muela company logo fastened with a snap. Sheath is stitched on the edges with decorative white thread. The attachment to a belt or a holster allows to carry the knife in an upright position.
