Manufacturas Muela has introduced as new 2019 the Tuareg bushcraft knife with a blade made of high-quality Sandvik 14C28N steel. The knife's handle of beautifully finished black and blue micarta and Drop Point blade profile make Tuareg a handy yet eye-pleasing knife.
The Muela Tuareg knife is inspired by the Berber people of the Tuareg region, to whom the knife owes its name.
Made of durable SANDVIK 14C28N steel, the knife achieves an excellent hardness of up to 60 HRC. This type of material was originally used by Kershaw, and its main feature is the concentration of nitrogen and chromium, which provides very good corrosion resistance.
In terms of cutting conditions and performance, this type of steel will allow sublime versatility in all types of work and textures of extreme hardness. In addition, its structural balance is truly amazing, so it will not weaken in hostile environments or extreme temperatures.
