Storm matches burn and do not go out regardless of weather conditions. Resistant to wind, water, snow.
The match head easily fires off a scratch, heat source, etc. The head of the match is covered with a thick layer of special compound, so it is protected against accidental self-ignition. Specially selected mixture prevents rapid combustion of the mass (delays burnout) at the same time as high combustion temperature.
