AISI 420 (American Iron and Steel Institute) - martensitic stainless steel rich in carbon 0.15% and containing min. 12% chrome. In the annealed state, it has good ductility and excellent corrosion resistance. AISI 420 grade has the highest chromium content of all stainless steels 12-14% and hardness in the range 53 -55 HRC.
