LionSteel Tactical Green Canvas / Satin Blade knife (T5B CVG)

T5B CVG, compact version of the tactical M7, legendary knife from Italian manufactory LionSteel. The goal was to create a more manageable, easier-to-carry, but still reliable big-blade tool for any field application. Also aimed at enthusiasts of bushcraft, survival and hunting. A knife that will serve for years!

Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

Niolox - tool steel with good edge holding and high strength. Hardened between 58-63 HRC. It is characterized by aggressive cutting and good impact strength. The name comes from the element niobium (Nb), one of the best carbides, which contributes to the wear resistance of the steel. Niolox includes it 0.7%. Easy to sharpen with moderate corrosion resistance, contains 8.5% chromium. Manufactured by German steel mill Lohmann.

PVD + Stone Washed - the durability of the surface of the wedge and the cutting edge has been increased by the method of PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) by depositing thin films from the gas phase and subjected to a fine scratch-masking finish Stone Washed. The applied coating has a very high hardness, which significantly increases the resistance of the blade to abrasive wear.

Head - massive Drop Point with a well-defined belly. Blade Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind) provides strength and the tapering of the blade towards the shank reduces weight improving the geometry of the cutting edge. On the back of the wedge upper jimping, notched thumb rest for better knife control.

Handle - made with Solid®, obtained from a unique block (one piece) of waterproof Micarta Green Canvas. As a result, a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a strong, solid structural element. Grip facings have been machined 4D obtaining an anti-slip texture with excellent adhesion. Enlarged protrusion acts as a gut protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. Arbor with lanyard hole, hole for the rope, it can also function as a hammer.

Vagina - extended, protecting the head along with part of the handle. Hand-sewn, made of natural leather in black embossed with the manufacturer's logo. The edges of the holster were stitched with double decorative stitching. Fastened with a snap fastener type Prym. Attaching it to a belt or a mount allows the knife to be carried in an upright position upright.
