M7 Green Canvas the largest of the knives of the Italian manufactory LionSteel with manufactured with Solid® handle. The goal was to create a reliable tool with high portability for all kinds of field use: cutting, chopping, batoning, chopping. Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
Sleipner - chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured at Swedish steel plant Uddeholm.
Head - extremely sharp Drop Point with a well-defined belly. Smooth satin-finished blade Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind), which guarantees excellent cutting properties. Finger choil, index finger undercut between the handle and the cutting edge, makes it easier to control the knife and also protects your fingers from slipping on the blade.
Handle - in technology Solid® Knife, obtained from a unique block (one piece) of waterproof green canvas micarta processed 4D. As a result, a lightweight, monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a strong, solid structural element. The grip facings were machined CNC obtaining a non-slip texture. At the bottom of the handle projection / dace, protecting the hand from slipping on the blade while working.
