Steel

Niolox - tool steel with good edge holding and high strength. Hardened between 58-63 HRC. It is characterized by aggressive cutting and good impact strength. The name comes from the element niobium (Nb), one of the best carbides, which contributes to the wear resistance of the steel. Niolox includes it 0.7%. Easy to sharpen with moderate corrosion resistance, contains 8.5% chromium. Manufactured by German steel mill Lohmann.

Head

Massive in shape Drop Point and thickness 5 mm with a clearly marked belly of the cutting edge. Satinized smooth blade Plain brought out full flat grind (Full Flat Grind) provides strength and the tapering of the blade towards the tip reduces weight improving the geometry of the cutting edge. On the back of the wedge upper jimping, notched thumb rest.

Handle

Covered with convex grip covers made of olive wood with a unique grain pattern. Profiled and machined using technology 3D for better ergonomics, provide a firm grip. Enlarged protrusion acts as a gut protecting the hand from slipping on the blade. Mounted with screws Torx T8 made of stainless steel, the facings can be removed to make the knife into an improvised spear.

Vagina

Extended, protecting the head along with part of the handle. Made of natural leather in color brown embossed with the manufacturer's logo. Fastened with a snap fastener type Prym.
