M7 Black Micarta, Black Blade the largest of the knives of the Italian manufactory LionSteel with manufactured with Solid® handle. The goal was to create a reliable tool with high portability for all kinds of field use: cutting, chopping, batoning, chopping. Design by Molletta, designed by a well-known, respected Italian designer with many years of experience. Michele Pensato (ps. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experimentation in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.
Sleipner - chrome-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured at Swedish steel plant Uddeholm.
Head - extremely sharp Drop Point with a well-defined belly. Plain blade Plain brought out flat grind (Flat Grind), which perfectly presents black mattee finish Mil Spec.
