Universal suspension "SMUK" is an excellent way to quickly and conveniently suspend a hammock allowing full adjustment without a single knot!

The key element of the system is the cables Dyneema with a strength of 660 daN, which act the role of adjustable lashings, so-called whoopie slings. The lashings can be shortened or lengthened in the range of 60-300 cm.
The lashings are connected by carabiner z polyamide tapes, which have a loop stitched at the end with a quadruple bolt. Tapes wrapped around the tree create a secure attachment point that does not damage the bark.
Thanks to the easy installation of the straps on the tree and the full adjustment of the lashings, you can freely adjust the hammock after it is already hung up, rather than before, as in the case of ordinary ropes or straps. SMUK makes it faster to set up and assemble a hammock bivouac and is always just as easy to use, regardless of our fatigue or weather conditions.
SMUK suspension eliminates mistakes that can be made when hanging a hammock:
- uneven attachment of lines
- hammock moved closer to one of the trees or hung higher on one side improper tension
- hammock too tight or too loose wrong height
- hammock too high or too low damage to trees
- thin lines cut into the bark
The following were used in the production of the Smuk the best materials available, achieving low weight and very high strength. PASAMON 20 mm polyamide tapes are resistant to intensive use, links made of 100% Dyneema fibers, additionally impregnated, are unbelievably lightweight (5g per meter) and strong - Strength as high as 660 daN! Aluminum carabiners certified by the manufacturer up to 600 daN are easy to use thanks to the non-screw locking mechanism.
Suspension fits comfortably together with hammock in standard cover. Replacement of hammock ropes on Smuka is a matter of 3 minutes of work, the system fits any of our models - all the information in the included instructions.
The Smuk suspension works most effectively when combined with a Smuk chord (must be purchased separately) - together forming the Smuk Suspension System. The system allows you to fully, securely and quickly adjust the hammock exactly to your individual preferences. Using the System, the hammock will always be suspended in the same way that is most comfortable for us. The photo in the gallery with the Spirit clearly visible shows a perfectly hung hammock using Smuk suspension.
Note! Smuk suspension cannot be used as climbing and/or belaying equipment. The hammock and Smuk chord shown in the picture are not included in the set.
