Lesovik SMUK - Dyneema - Grey tension

The SMUK hammock tensioner from Lesovik, which significantly speeds up hammock unfolding and simplifies its overall handling. SMUK rope belongs to a category called Ridge Line through its function of connecting the ends of the hammock. Impregnated Dyneema cord was used to produce the chord. Despite a very low weight of 15 grams, the manufacturer managed to achieve a strength of 660 daN (6600 N).

With the SMUK chord, the user will be able to more efficiently prepare a resting place to sleep on it diagonally. After attaching the cord, you just need to adjust it for the first time so that the hammock keeps its shape on subsequent unfoldings. The chord braiding process uses methods widely used in sailing and arboriculture.

The string is equipped with a stopper in the form of a bead in the color of the string, which protects it from unraveling the string, and thus its possible damage. The chord is compatible with all Lesovik hammocks, and can be installed in about 3 minutes. The cord can also be used to better organize the camping area and, using a snap hook, we can attach a flashlight or gloves to it, for example.
