Ka-Bar BK22 knife - Becker Campanion - Polyester Sheath
A massive, solidly built BK2 survival knife from the Ethan Becker-designed Becker Knives series, manufactured by Ka-Bar since 2009.
The BK22 set differs from the BK2 model by the included polyester sheath.
Knife made of one piece of 1095 grade Cro-Van steel, coated with a matte black coating to prevent glare and corrosion.
The knife is designed primarily for heavy field work, it is not afraid of chopping thicker branches, etc. The blade, as thick as 6.35 mm, will withstand a lot.
The handle is made of BASF's patented, virtually indestructible Ultramid material. The stag shape of the handle at the bottom of the blade protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
The set includes a polyester knife scabbard in black. It has a belt mount, MOLLE/PALS-compliant pals for mounting to a tactical vest or backpack, and a Velcro-closed pocket for accessories.
The knife was made in the USA.
