Ka-Bar BK10 knife - Becker Crewman
A solidly built BK10 Crewman survival knife from the Ethan Becker-designed Becker Knives series, manufactured by Ka-Bar since 2009.
Clip point type head is made of a single piece of 1095 grade Cro-Van steel, coated with a matte black coating to protect against glare and corrosion.
The knife is designed primarily for heavy field work, it is not afraid of chopping thicker branches, etc. The 5 mm thick blade will withstand a lot.
The handle is made of BASF's patented, virtually indestructible Ultramid® material. The stag-shaped shape of the handle at the bottom of the blade and the large notched surface under the thumb prevent the hand from slipping on the blade.
The set includes a polyester knife scabbard in black. It has a belt mount, MOLLE/PALS-compliant pals for mounting to a tactical vest or backpack, and a Velcro-closed pocket for accessories.
The knife was made in the USA.
