Ka-Bar 1250 - Short USMC knife
Compact version of the iconic Ka-Bar 1217 knife, differs from the original in reduced size (3/4 of the original).
The knife is made from a single piece of high quality 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel. Smooth blade with a characteristic Clip Point shape with a shallow rim is covered with a black anti-glare powder-coated finish.
A steel hilt protects the hand from slipping on the blade. The handle is made of compressed buffalo leather discs.
The set includes a brown leather sheath with embossing "USMC".

Sharpening and maintenance. Don't make the tool too dull. Sharpen your knife on dedicated whetstones and sharpeners. Your tool should be cleaned, dried and oiled regularly. Especially after use in humid environments.
