Helikon Ranger MK2 is a rugged prism compass that is great for determining marching direction even in very demanding conditions. Where modern navigation tools are proving their unreliability, the Ranger MK2 will do a great job of determining marching direction.
The compass is constructed of aluminum and plastic, so it is lightweight and durable at the same time, so it won't let you down whenever you need it.
The compass has a map scale graduation 1:25000 as well as a degree and thousandths scale. Phosphorescent elements of the compass allow for easier navigation during nighttime operations or in limited light.
