Lauri Carbon heads manufactured in Finaland are commonly used for making handmade Scandinavian knives (puukko, leuku). Lauri Carbon head is made of high quality carbon steel (80CrV2) with excellent characteristics. Blade hardness of 59HRC provides the knife with excellent cutting properties and high resistance to dulling.

Sharpening and maintenance. Don't make the tool too dull. Sharpen your knife on dedicated whetstones and sharpeners. Your tool should be cleaned, dried and oiled regularly. Especially after use in humid environments.
