FOX Sherpa Canvas Micarta 140mm Survival Knife (FX-610)

Sherpa, durable knife with construction full tang companies FOX. Targeted at lovers of survivalists, ideal for mountain excursions and the woods. Extremely versatile due to its weight it is suitable for heavy work. Wide, solid blade provides a balance between strength and cutting edge geometry.

D2 - high-carbon tool steel blade with 12% doped with chrome, provides excellent edge hold. It is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-61 HRC and abrasion resistance.

Black Idroglider® Stone Washed - the head is coated blackened except for part of the grind, with a matte non-reflective coating made of PTFE and subjected to a fine scratch-masking finish Stone Washed.

Head - wide with profile Drop Point with a well-defined belly. Upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the wedge and the finger choil, finger undercut between handle and cutting edge, makes it easier to control the knife. Single-sided rider protecting your hand from slipping on the blade.

Handle - profiled in color OD Green. Covered with non-slip waterproof facings made of micarta (canvas micarta), a durable and lightweight composite material. Exposed steel head with lanyard hole, hole for a rope, can be used as a hammer / glass breaker.

Vagina - extended, protects the head along with part of the handle. Made of leather in black embossed with the manufacturer's logo. Fastened with a latch type Prym. Attached to a belt or a mount allows the knife to be carried in an upright position upright or horizontal.
