Niolox - is a German steel produced by Lohmann steelworks. The name comes from the root niobium (Nb). Niolox contains it 0.7%. It is characterized by aggressive cutting, wear resistance and good impact strength even when hardened to 61-64 HRC. It has some corrosion resistance (8.5% chromium) but is not completely stainless, requires minimal care.
Head - wide with profile Drop Point with a well-defined belly. Upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the blade makes it easier to control the knife. Single-sided, steel rider that protects the hand from slipping on the blade.
Handle - profiled in black, covered with non-slip waterproof facings made of micarta (yute micarta), a durable and lightweight composite material. In the back of the handle there is a Lanyard Hole, hole for belay or decorative rope.
Scabbard - extended, protects the head along with part of the handle. Made of leather in black embossed with the manufacturer's logo. Fastened with a Prym-type latch. Attaches to a belt or a mount for carrying the knife vertically or horizontally.
