About Fenix WF30RE
Fenix WF30RE is a professional flashlight dedicated to bushcraft fans, survivalists, mechanics or security, uniformed services, rescue workers. The flashlight is fully intrinsically safe and has numerous certifications (IECEx, ATEX and CSA) that allow it to be used in the most dangerous places like hazardous areas or those with high dust levels.
Rugged construction
The FENIX WF30RE flashlight is equipped with an extremely durable body made of hardened A6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized HAIII coating which is guaranteed to be resistant to impacts, drops and oxidation. The WF30RE can withstand a drop from a height of 1.5m, being hit by a metal ball weighing 1kg from a height of 70cm, and can operate underwater at a depth of 2m as confirmed by IP66/IP68 certification. As an additional reinforcement, there is an 8mm metal screw that attaches the flashlight's cap, thus preventing it from dislodging during a bump or fall.
Light properties
The flashlight emits a beam of light of neutral color generated by the well-known Cree XP-G2 LED, which does not tire the eyes during prolonged use. Evenly dispersed light beam and a range of up to 170 meters is due to the light reflector used - orange peel and hardened flashlight glass. The flashlight allows you to generate a light output of up to 280 lumens, which is great for shining for short as well as distant distances.
The FENIX WF30RE gives us the ability to work in 4 modes. There are 3 modes of steady light (high, medium, low) and a strobe mode, which you can easily, conveniently and seamlessly operate with the metal button located on the flashlight.
Fenix to take care of 100% of our comfort and safety has equipped the WF30RE with numerous safety systems such as battery level indicator, overheat protection, reverse polarity detection and protection system, low battery warning function.
The flashlight's battery charge level is indicated by an LED on the side switch:
- A steady green light indicates that the battery is 85-100% charged
- A flashing green light indicates that the battery still has between 50 and 85% of power left.
- Steady red light is the residue of about 25-50% battery charge
- A flashing red light indicates that the battery will soon be 1-25% discharged
The WF30RE flashlight is powered by a FENIX ARB-L21-2600Ex lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, which allows it to operate for up to 120 hours using low mode (30 lumens). The battery used in the WF30RE flashlight meets strict safety tests, explosion-proof tests, and is resistant to low as well as high temperatures in the range of -35°C to 45°C. We will charge the flashlight to full in just 5h and 30min and the safety of charging is ensured by an intrinsically safe DC interface additionally equipped with circuit protection, which protects the circuit from AC fluctuations.
