FENIX PD36 Tac Flashlight

Fenix PD36 Tac flashlight is a refreshed and upgraded version of the already well-known and highly regarded PD36R tactical flashlight. The new version has been equipped with the Luminous SST70 LED generating a luminous flux of 3,000 lumens. The flashlight is powered by a powerful and capacious 21700 battery with a capacity of 5000mAh, which is charged via the uSB-C port.

Flashlight body

The body of the flashlight was made of hardened A6061-T6 aluminum, subjected to HA-III hard anodizing process. This process makes the the flashlight tube and head are even more resistant to all kinds of mechanical damage, scratches and abrasions. Cutters located on the body of the flashlight and the geometric profile provide a secure non-slip grip and convenience of use. By using a raised head element in the form of a steel crown, the optics and glass are further protected from mechanical damage when dropped or placed on an uneven surface. The flashlight has also been equipped with a practical clip, so that we can easily and quickly attach it to the belt or the equipment. Detachable clip prevents the flashlight from rolling off an inclined surface.

The PD36 Tac flashlight is equipped with a new generation of luminous SST-70 LED with a maximum output of 3000 lumens, which will illuminate the road ahead over an impressive distance of as much as 274 meters. Thanks to the use of cool-neutral light color reduced eye fatigue with prolonged use and achieved much better color reproduction and increased detailing. Due to the tactical use of the flashlight sMO smooth reflector was used, which features a concentrated light beam with a strongly illuminated center of the stream. Thanks to such solutions, the flashlight ideally works in patrol and rescue operations where it is necessary to illuminate distant targets as well as work in small spaces.

Battery

Flashlight is powered by a rechargeable battery type 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh. This battery has twice the capacity of a standard 18650 battery which, of course, translates into incredible flashlight performance and excellent runtime. We will charge the flashlight in a very easy way because it is equipped with a USB type C port. With this you can charge the flashlight using a standard USB-C cable included in the kit, without the need for a separate charger. The manufacturer states that the FENIX PD36 Tac can work up to 9h in its most powerful mode of 3000 lumens and up to 6 days in Eco mode.

Usage

The FENIX PD36 Tac flashlight has two switches:

• Main (on the back of the flashlight) - activates the momentary light, the constant light and adjusts the brightness levels,
• Mechanical ring - a rotating ring allows you to quickly switch modes between the Tactical and Duty groups and activates a lock to prevent unwanted accidental activation of the flashlight.

Tactical mode allows you to use the flashlight in maximum power mode and strobe mode. Duty mode, on the other hand, allows you to use all the modes necessary for duty or daily tasks.

Tactical:

The flashlight is also equipped with a memory mode so that when the flashlight is restarted, it automatically returns to its previous mode of operation.

Fenix PD36 TAC uses APF (Advanced Transmision Technology), which reduces the susceptibility of electronics to interference.

Security

PD36 TAC is equipped with intelligent protection systems against overheating and reverse polarity. The flashlight is waterproof and can withstand total immersion in water for 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 2 meters. This is guaranteed by the IP68 protection class certification.
