Fenix PD35R is a compact tactical flashlight with a light output of 1700 lumens, powered by a rechargeable 18650 3400 mAh battery, equipped with a USB-C charging port, battery level indicator and two switches for simple and comfortable operation.
With its lightweight IP68-rated aluminum body, functional clip, and convenient 2-switch interface, the Fenix PD35R will be an ideal tool for uniformed services, but also an indispensable light source for preppers, survivalists, and military enthusiasts.
The flashlight is compatible with FenixAER-02 V2.0 gel switch and weapon mounts m.in. Fenix ALG-16 and Fenix ALG-15.

The body of the Fenix PD35R flashlight is made of hardened aluminum, subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process, which makes the flashlight's barrel and head resistant to scratches, abrasion and mechanical damage. The milling of the body and its geometric profile prevent the flashlight from slipping from the hand, and provide excellent grip. The PD35R also features a spring-loaded clip that allows the flashlight to be quickly attached to the armor and easily retrieved. A detachable clip also prevents the flashlight from rolling off an inclined surface. The flashlight has a new control system, consisting of two rear buttons with different shapes and functionality.
The light source is a new generation LUMINUS SFT40 LED, emitting a maximum light output of 1700 lumens at a distance of as much as 353 m. Cool-neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendition and better visibility of details. The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth reflector, providing a concentrated beam of light with a strongly illuminated center of the scene. This design results in a focused beam of light that can illuminate objects up to more than 350 m away.
The user has 6 light modes available: turbo, high, medium, low, eco and strobe thus allowing the user to customize the lighting according to their needs. It is worth noting that the total runtime of the flashlight in the 1700 lumens turbo mode is nearly 135 minutes!
The flashlight is powered by a high-current 18650 type cell with a capacity of 3400 mAh. The battery used has over-discharge protection and nearly 1.5× the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, which obviously translates into tremendous performance and impressive runtime.
The PD35R has a built-in USB-C charging port, allowing the cell to charge very quickly. Discharged 3400 mAh battery can be recharged to full in less than 3 hours. The USB-C port also allows the flashlight to be charged from a portable power-bank, greatly enhancing the mobility and capabilities of the Fenix PD35R. The socket is protected from moisture, water and dust by a rubber plug. Thanks to the function of the battery level indicator (LED in the body) and the low voltage warning, we can control the operation of the flashlight and manage the remaining power supply. When you turn on the flashlight, the indicator for 3 seconds tells us the battery status.

The PD35R flashlight has two rear switches: a round one and a smaller oval one for changing modes. Main button activates momentary light and turns on continuous illumination. The smaller oval button is responsible for changing the brightness of the light and turning on the strobe flash light. Thanks to the memory function, when the flashlight is next activated, the last used light mode is automatically selected.
Fenix tactical flashlights for professionals
The flashlight uses several safety systems m.in. reverse polarity protection, low voltage warning, and "intelligent protection" against overheating IOP, which reduces the brightness of the light to cool down after heating to 60°C. The flashlight's high IP68 rating makes it resistant to total immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 1m), dust and dirt, and drops.
