Fenix PD25R travel flashlight

Fenix PD25R is an upgraded version of the PD25 flashlight, dedicated to hiking and outdoor fans. It will perform well in a variety of outdoor activities m.in. hiking, camping, edc, etc. The flashlight has undergone upgrades and improvements to the optics, increasing its range to as much as 250m, and power to 800 lumens.

The body of the flashlight is made of anodized aluminum HA-III which is a guarantee of strength and resistance to mechanical damage. Transverse mottling body the flashlight ensures that it does not slip out of your hand and has a solid, tactile grip. The mottled surface, in addition to improving grip, also helps and accelerates the dissipation of heat that the diode generates.

The optical system was protected by a crown, which allows you to use the flashlight for self-defense techniques. The flashlight is compact and convenient to use and carry. The length of the PD25R is only 92mm, and the weight without batteries is only 78g, so we can carry it with us every day and it won't be a hassle or inconvenience.

The body of the flashlight is equipped with a two-way clip (removable) so that the flashlight can be quickly attached to a belt, backpack or tactical vest.

To operate the flashlight, there are two switches: the rear one- responsible for activating the constant light and the side one for changing modes and activating the strobe.

The light source of the PD25R V3.0 flashlight is an innovative new generation LED LUMINUS SST20 LED, which generates a beam of 800 lumens at a distance of 250m, which is an impressive result. The light generated has a cool-neutral color that reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendering and better visibility of details.

PD25R upgraded optical system consisting of anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth SMO reflector, thanks to which it can illuminate objects even more than 200 m away from us. The Fenix PD25R has a fairly evenly divided light beam i.e., narrow spill and fairly wide beam. Such a light output will work well for a variety of outdoor activities m.in. hiking, camping, edc, etc.

The user has up to 5 modes of constant light:

• turbo,
• high,
• medium,
• low,
• eco
• and flash mode: strobe.

The PD25R is powered by a 16340 Fenix ARB-L16-700P battery pack,which can also be replaced by a disposable CR123A battery. When fully charged, it provides up to 70 hours of continuous operation in eco mode 5 lumens. In turbo mode, the flashlight emits a light output of 800 lumens. Total operating time in turbo mode is approx. 44 minutes.

An extremely convenient and innovative feature is the uSB port built into the battery, thanks to which we do not need adapters and additional chargers to charge it. The rechargeable battery can be charged directly using a micro USB cable. The port is accessed by partially unscrewing the head which also protects against dirt.

The flashlight has a built-in battery charge level indicator in the form of an LED. An LED each time the flashlight is turned on indicates the current battery level. The battery level indicator blinking red informs us that the battery needs to be charged or replaced. These functions work only with the Fenix ARB-L16-700P 16340 rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

To operate the flashlight there are two buttons located on the side and on the back. The side switch is made of metal and is used to change the brightness and activate the strobe flash mode. The tactical switch on the back of the body is made of rubber and is responsible for activating the momentary light, as well as turning the flashlight on and off.

The flashlight has a function to remember the last used brightness level. When turned on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function). Thanks to iP68 protection level this flashlight is resistant to dust, dust, full immersion in water at a depth of 2 m and a drop from a height of 1 m.

The flashlight features iPO overheating protection (Intelligent Overheat Protection), which protects against excessive heating of the flashlight surface (max. 60°C)
