Fenix LD15R angle flashlight

Fenix LD15R is compact angle flashlight with 500 lumen output, two light colors, a USB charging option and a very useful feature, in the form of a battery level indicator. ARB-L16-700 battery included.

Fenix LD15R by its design refers to the angle flashlights used in the US Army for nearly 70 years. Compact body with a length of only 70 mm, made of lightweight and durable aircraft aluminum treated with HA-III hard anodizing process. Ribbing on the head and tube acts as a heat sink, responsible for dissipating excess heat released during flashlight operation. The formula of the angle flashlight, is a proven and very practical solution useful for both hiking and everyday use. The steel clip allows the flashlight to be attached to equipment or clothing in two ways (up/down). To meet the needs of customers, a strong magnet has been installed in the Fenix LD15R model (in the cap), allowing you to instantly attach the flashlight to a steel surface. These two simple forms of attachment mean that the user's hands remain free and we can concentrate on the activity at hand.

The light source of the Fenix LD15R angle flashlight are two emitters, a white Cree XP-G3 LED and a red Everlight LED. Depending on our needs, we can use a stream of white light with a maximum brightness of 1800 candelas and a range of 85 m or a discreet, non-glare red light with a stream of 4 lumens. The intensity of the light is, of course, adjustable, the user has 4 levels of white light brightness ( Low→Med→High→Turbo) and 3 modes of red light (steady red light→signal red light→SOS).

Only one button is used to turn the flashlight on/off and change modes, as a result, the user can enjoy a very simple and intuitive interface. Flashlight remembers the last mode selected and the next time you turn it on, it automatically activates that brightness level.

The Fenix LD15R angle flashlight is powered by a 16340 ARB-L16-700 rechargeable battery (included), providing up to 80 minutes of operation in Turbo mode of 500 lumens. A great convenience and practical solution is function of charging the battery without removing it from the flashlight. On board the Fenix LD15R flashlight, there is a chip and a micro USB port, allowing the battery to be recharged, for example, via a power-bank. Rubber plug, protects the socket from moisture, dust and water. The flashlight also has a battery level indicator. The LED, located under the switch's rubber band, communicates the energy status in a simple and clear way, which allows for more efficient management of energy reserves.

Battery level indicator messages:

• constant green light: 100-85%
• flashing green light: 85-50%
• constant red light: 50-25%
• pulsating red light: 25-1%

Despite its small size, the flashlight features a high protection class IP68, meaning resistance to immersion in water to a depth of 2 m and a fall from a height of 1.5 m.
