Fenix HM61R is versatile outdoor flashlight with a 1200 lumen output combining the functions of a headlamp and a standard angle flashlight.

Handy and durable

The flashlight tube is made of anodized aircraft grade aluminum, which guarantees high resistance to damage and robustness of construction. Thanks to the cross-moleting of the surface, the flashlight does not slip from the hand, and its grip is well felt.

The flashlight measures just 101 mm, with battery it weighs about 140 g, therefore, it can constantly accompany us in our daily activities.

The angle of the light beam can be easily adjusted up to 180° by rotating the body in the polymer band clamp clamp. Unlike traditional headlamps, Fenix HM61R can be used as a handy angle flashlight when detached from the mount.

Magnetic tip allows flashlight to be attached to steel surfaces, which is especially useful for activities that require free hands and a stable light source.

The manufacturer also did not forget about a functional clip (removable) that allows you to carry the flashlight on your belt, backpack or pocket.

Two colors of light

The main source of light is new generation LUMINUS SST40 LED, emitting maximum light output of 1200 lumens at a distance of as much as 145 m! Neutral light color reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendition and better visibility of details.

The flashlight has an additional red light (3 modes), which is perfect for nighttime operations because, unlike white light, it does not dazzle the user, provides a smooth adaptation of the eyes to vision in the dark, facilitates map reading and reduces our visibility.

The flashlight uses a modified collimating lens with a thickness of 3 mm, which makes the the light beam is evenly dispersed and efficiently illuminates the center and sides of the scene ahead.

8 modes of operation

The user can choose from 5 white light modes and 3 modes of red light. All operation of the Fenix HM61R, i.e. turning on, off and changing modes, is done using the large silicone button (on the side of the flashlight).

This guarantees high comfort of use and allows to operate the flashlight also with gloves. Used controller provides a linear course of operation, which means that in a given mode, the flashlight works until the battery is depleted without automatically reducing the beam.

Convenient charging

A major innovation is the possibility of charging the battery (without removing it from the flashlight) via a magnetic port. When the magnetic cable is brought close to the port, the plug is automatically plugged into the port.

Such a solution is very convenient, it protects the socket and the cable from mechanical damage (jerking) and eliminates the need to regularly check whether the plug has been properly plugged in.

The set includes a Fenix ARB-L18-3500 battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh, which, when fully charged, provides up to 2 hours of operation in turbo mode (total time) or 300 hours in economical eco mode.

Battery level indicator

During outdoor activities, it's a good idea to monitor the state of the battery, which is why hM61R flashlight uses a low energy warning system and a simple LED indicator that informs the user of its condition.

A light in the side switch for 3 seconds after activating the flashlight indicates the battery level.

Battery level indications:

• constant green light: 100-85%,
• flashing green light: 85-50%,
• constant red light: 50-25%,
• flashing red light: 25-1%.

Additional features

During transport, the flashlight can be locked by going into what is known as lock mode. This protects against accidental light activation and uncontrolled battery depletion. The flashlight also remembers the last brightness level used.

When turned on again, the flashlight automatically activates in this mode (memory function).

Security

The flashlight features a high IP68 protection rating, which means that it it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain and even full immersion in water (2 m) for 30 minutes. Therefore, HM61R can be successfully used in all weather conditions, for virtually any physical activity.

The manufacturer also did not forget to include protection against overheating and reverse polarity, as well as a controller with digital current regulation.

Reflective armband

Stable carrying of the flashlight on the head is ensured by upgraded rubber band, sweat-wicking and equipped with reflective inserts to increase our visibility and safety when moving at night on the road or trail.
