Fenix HL18R-T is an upgraded version of the popular HL18R-T headlamp, which offers more powerful light output, greater range and convenient band adjustment. The model was created for people looking for a lightweight and reliable headlamp for jogging, Nordic walking, trekking and other forms of outdoor activities where every gram of equipment is important.

Lightweight polymer housing

The body of the headlamp is made of lightweight plastic, which is characterized by high thermal stability, resistance to mechanical damage and high temperatures. Such properties provide the flashlight with durability and reliable performance, making it perfect for demanding outdoor activities. It is worth noting that the weight of the headlamp including batteries is only 91 g, that's why once you put the flashlight on your head, it's easy to forget you have it.

Dual light output

The light source is two Everlight 2835 LEDs and a Cree XP-G3 S3 LED. The light emitted has a natural light color with a high CRI, which reflects colors well and does not tire the eyes even with prolonged use. Depending on the needs and the situation, we can use 2 types of light: focused with a maximum flux of 500 lumens or diffused with a value of 30 lumens. Two beam widths (84°/17°), maximum range of 82m (focused light in high mode) and 60° angle adjustment (inclination of the entire head) make the Fenix HL18R-T a valuable light for any jogging, hiking or fishing enthusiast.

Multi power supply

The Fenix HL18RW headlamp is factory-powered with a 1300 mAh lithium-polymer battery. The package used provides up to 30 hours in low mode (30 lumens) or up to 180 minutes of total operation in high mode (500 lumens). The manufacturer has provided for an alternative form of power supply. When the battery is discharged, we can replace it with 3 popular AAA batteries (Ni-MH/alkali). When going on a longer trip outside the city, it is worth taking a supply of AAA batteries with you, so that even in a random situation you will not run out of light.

Fast charging

To charge the battery, a high-speed micro-USB port, which allows the battery to be fully charged in just 2.5 hours (mains charging). Micro-USB socket allows you to recharge the battery, for example, while traveling by car, at work or using a power bank. This solution also reduces the costs associated with the need to purchase a charger and provides us with independence and greater mobility during outdoor activities. The flashlight uses an LED battery level indicator (4 LEDs), which clearly indicates the status of the battery, allowing for thoughtful energy management.

Separate switches

Two buttons are used to operate the flashlight located at the top of the flashlight, separate for concentrated and diffused light. Such a solution guarantees convenience and ease of use of the headlamp. Use the assigned button to turn on/off and change the brightness of the light. The flashlight uses 5 operating modes: 3 levels of concentrated light (low, medium, high) and 2 diffused light settings (low, SOS). The flashlight has lock function, protecting against accidental activation of the flashlight while carrying it, which can, of course, lead to uncontrolled battery drainage.

All-weather resistant

The Fenix HL18R-T provides protection class IP66, which means it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain, splashing, and a 1m drop. Therefore, we can use the flashlight in almost any weather conditions and varied physical activities without any worries. The advanced driver and robust design makes the flashlight work efficiently in a wide temperature range: -35°C to 45° C.

Quick adjustment band

The Fenix HL18R-T uses a patented fit System band adjustment system, which allows you to adjust the circumference of the belt with one hand. To operate the mechanism, there is a rotating disk with which we can easily shorten or increase the circumference of the belt even while jogging.
The widened strap is responsible for the comfortable and stable wearing of the flashlight on the head and easy wicking of sweat during physical activity. The tape has reflective inserts increasing our visibility and safety when traveling at night on a road or trail.
