Not every situation requires a high-powered diode - sometimes it is definitely more important to be efficient and ready for any situation. Fenix E-STAR emergency flashlight guarantees us the ability to use as many as three ways of power supply, making it ideal for conditions with limited access to energy - whether we stay in isolated areas or during power outages. The use of replaceable AA type cells, ability to manually power the flashlight and more everyday charging via USB-C will allow the flashlight to work in literally any situation.

To ensure that we can operate regardless of restrictions on power sources, fenix E-STAR emergency flashlight has been equipped with a lever that will guarantee us the ability to manually recharge. Importantly, however, the model has also received a capacitor to store the generated energy - unlike standard lever models, it is not necessary to constantly press the lever while lighting up.

Other, more standard power sources have also been thoughtfully addressed. The device has a tray suitable for using AA size cells. Therefore, we can put both the commonly available "finger" batteries and a rechargeable battery - such as for example the included GP Ni-MH. In the second case, the device will also allow us to charge it using the integrated USB-C port - this will come in handy in everyday situations and in preparing the flashlight for long-term storage. Thanks to the low self-discharge of the included battery pack Fenix E-STAR will be perfect as part of a survival kit or BOB backpack.

The model uses an LED with a maximum output of 100 lumens, equipped with a lens that forms the light into a homogeneous beam. It is worth noting here that when using the manual power mode, the flashlight can shine at a maximum in Mid mode, thus offering a useful 60 lumens. The E-STAR is equipped with a locking switch eliminating the risk of accidental activation of the flashlight in luggage and with a temperature switch to protect the model from overheating. The battery indicator, on the other hand, will allow us to quickly verify the state of charge of the battery so that we can be sure that the flashlight is ready for operation. The casing of the device to keep the weight as low as possible was made of polymer and sealed to IP24 standard, which guarantees resistance to splashes.
