Fenix CL28R outdoor lamp is the first Fenix lighting model to allow the color temperature of the light to be varied smoothly from 2700 to 6000 K. The lamp emits white light with a flux of 2000 lumens and 160° angle, useful for illuminating a wide stage, work area or camping area. With a compact form factor, the ability to be attached in several ways, and a capacious 10,000 mAh battery, the Fenix CL28R halogen effectively bridges the gap between a camping light and an industrial halogen.

The source of the white light is lED COB emitter with a maximum flux of 2000 lumens, allowing to illuminate the area with an ultra-wide angle of 160° at a distance of up to 50 meters. The simple design of the LED COB board allows it to generate a powerful flux (it has a much better lumens-per-watt ratio) while consuming low power, which makes this type of emitter increasingly replace traditional halogens. The most important feature of the COB LED wafer is that it emits a uniform beam of light with high optical density. A COB LED emitter consists of multiple LEDs grouped and connected together directly on a single chip/board - hence the name COB (Chip On Board).
The user can choose from 3 brightness settings for white light: high (2000 lumens), medium (1000 lumens), low (10 lumens), and 2 red light modes i.e., continuous and flash lights with a flux of 9 lumens, thus allowing you to customize the lighting to your needs. It is worth noting that the total runtime of the flashlight in turbo 2000 lumens mode is nearly 9 hours! A large knurled knob is used to change the brightness level.
The light emitted by the red LED will be perfect for tasks that require preserving night vision, and can also serve as emergency or rescue lighting. A separate button located on top of the lamp is used to activate the red light.
The most unique feature of the Fenix CL28R photo lamp is its light color temperature adjustment system, which allows you to smoothly change the color from 2700 K to 6000 K. With this functionality, the Fenix CL28R lamp will be ideal as a light for night photography. The warm color of the light has a very high CRI, so that objects photographed under this light have such natural such colors as if they were illuminated by sunlight. Infinite stepless adjustment of light color is made by means of a mottled knob.
Built-in battery with an impressive capacity of 10,000 mAh provides up to 15 days of continuous illumination in low mode or up to 9 hours in turbo mode (total time). It is worth noting that the outdoor lamp CL28R can also act as a power bank, thanks to which we can charge our phone or tablet. Built-in USB-C port with QC protocol charges a huge 10,000 mAh battery in just 4 hours. The socket is protected from moisture, water and dust by a rubber plug. We can check the battery level at any time. To do this, simply turn off the flashlight and press the orange button (used to activate the red light) once. An LED indicator for 3 seconds informs us of the battery status as follows:

- three luminous LEDs: 80-60%,
- two luminous LEDs: 60-40%,
- one luminous diode: 40-20%
- one flashing diode: 20-1%
The CL28R halogen swivel mount works 360° and also has a magnetic base and threaded socket, allowing the lamp to be attached to metal surfaces and mounted on any photographic tripod. The CL28R is drop resistant from a height of 1.5 meters and iP66 immunity standard, therefore, it is a robust and reliable tool that can be relied on regardless of weather conditions.
