Fenix BC26R is an extremely compact and lightweight bicycle flashlight, whose properties will be appreciated by every cyclist. The flashlight generates a wide light output of 1600 lumens, and it is powered by a capacious battery ARB-L21 5000 mAh. The BCR26R has a USB-C fast charging port, so you'll charge it in a really short time. In addition, it has a single and convenient button that will allow you to operate the flashlight while driving. The quick release mechanism of the flashlight saves time, depriving us of the need to painstakingly dismantle the mounting mechanisms.
The construction of the flashlight is made of anodized aluminum, so that the heat generated by the diode is effectively dissipated. An additional advantage of the material used is that it is resistant to immersion in water up to a depth of 2m, a fall from a height of 1.5m and the penetration of dust and dirt. Thus obtained resistance class IP68, which is a guarantee that the flashlight will perform well in harsh conditions, no matter during which activities you use it.
The flashlight is compact and weighs only 155g including the battery, so it's not a problem to carry around, and it's also great for use as a handheld flashlight. Special adapter ALD-08 (not included) allows you to mount the flashlight on a bicycle helmet transforming it into a headlamp. Included in the set silicone adapters allow you to adjust the clamp to the diameter of your handlebars in the range of 28 to 35mm and angle adjustment of up to 15°.
The BCR26R uses a light generating light of neutral color luminus LED with a power of up to 1600 lumens. Neutral light faithfully reproduces colors and allows you to see more details in nighttime conditions. The advantage of neutral light is also that it does not tire the eyes.
Luminus LED with a power of 1600 lumens allows you to illuminate the road ahead up to 169 meters, which is a result quite sufficient for cycling. The raised dome of the diffuser and the side openings, allow the light to be emitted sideways, warning oncoming vehicles from the left and right, as well as those coming behind us.
Light beam with a width of 100° provides a comfortable field of vision, and effectively illuminates curves.
The main power source for the flashlight is aRB-L21-5000 rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. A fully charged battery provides nearly 10 hours (600 lumen mode), or up to 210 min (1600 lumen turbo mode). To charge the flashlight, we do not need additional chargers, as the battery is charged through the built-in USB-C fast charging port. Thanks to the high 2A charging current, it is possible to fully charge the battery in just 4 hours. While charging the flashlight, we can also use it (low and medium mode only), but it will increase the battery charging time. LED indicator in the button, simply and clearly informs us about the level of battery charge.
Status of the battery level indicator:
- red flashing diode: critical level 1-25%
- red LED: low level 25-50%
- green flashing LED: medium level 50-85%
- green LED: high level 85-100%
An additional and very useful feature of the flashlight is the memory of the last used brightness level (memory mode). When the flashlight is turned off and on again, it starts up in the mode that was last used. Flashing battery level indicator light is a low battery warning. The flashlight is equipped with protection against overheating (turbo mode). The controller lowers the temperature by reducing the brightness by a few lumens, allowing the maximum mode to be restarted.
