The CRKT SPIT is a cool little fixed blade knife designed by Alan Folts. The name already says: SPIT (Small Pocket Inverted Tanto), so it is a small fixed blade knife with an inverted tanto blade. Created for everyday use. Alan Folts is also the designer of the famous CRKT Minimalist collection. As such, this knife is enhanced with many of the design features we see in the Minimalist collection. But now it's a little bigger.
The handle is impressive. Especially in this price range! It is made of amazing layered G10 fabric. Grooves in the handle provide additional grip and make the layered G10 look even better. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel. Decent type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The back of the blade is reinforced with a thumb cutout. These are small handle teeth that provide greater control.
