CRKT M16-01KZ folding knife

The smallest of the popular knife series M16® by CRKT, designed by Kit Carson.

M16 is an excellent EDC type knife. It will work in any situation and will never let its user down, plus it looks great.

The smooth Spear Point type blade is made of high quality 8Cr15MoV steel with a hardness of 58-59 HRC. For protection against glare and corrosion, the blade has been coated with a black EDP coating.

It opens with the thumb, which is facilitated by a rough-textured pin on both sides, as well as a special shape of the lower stag, the so-called Carson Flipper.

The blade is locked with a two-lock system. The first is a standard liner lock with a finger notch, and the second is a patented so-called locking lock, the Lake And Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS®). All this makes the user maximally protected against uncontrolled closing of the blade during operation.

Liners are made of 2CR13 steel. They have non-slip facings made of lightweight and durable fiberglass-doped nylon.

The knife has removable clip allowing it to be clipped to a belt, pocket edge, etc. It can be mounted on either side of the grip.
