It raises the bar for all affordable folders, using high-quality blade steel, layered G10 scales and patented features including assisted opening, unique knife safety and special CRKT serrations. First the blade. It is a modified drop point design with a high concave grind. We use the highest quality 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. You have a choice of a razor-sharp edge or a combination of a razor-sharp edge with CRKT's patented Veff serrations, which are perfect for cutting string, netting and vegetation quickly.
The frame uses CRKT's rigid InterFrame construction with stainless steel inserts, a single lock and layered G10 scales, textured and CNC-machined to improve grip. Deep choil and head fit well in the hand. Flat cross-section makes it convenient to carry in your pocket. All models include a removable stainless steel clip.
Standard Ignitor models have a polished blade and bezel, with blue and black G10 scales. It's a contemporary and sophisticated look that exudes the quality of a custom knife.
