Named after its 1st century Nordic ancestor, the Skeggox is a compact axe built to stand the test of time. Axe designed by James Williams is the modern incarnation of a Viking axe of exceptional strength with a head made of SK-5 carbon steel for excellent edge retention. Go ahead, make the Vikings jealous.
From camping to backpacking and survival hiking, Skeggox is a capable companion for outdoor adventures. The bearded blade extends the cutting edge to more than 12cm while minimizing weight and providing a hold directly behind the blade for precision work such as planing wood.
Versatility is further enhanced by a contoured, lightweight, fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle that provides multiple grip options. Weighing less than 1 kilogram and measuring just over 30 cm in length, Skeggox is small and light enough to take anywhere. The included thermoplastic cover and clips also allow it to be clipped to a backpack, keeping it secure and out of the way while on the move.
