Great design often comes from unexpected moments. So when Russ Kommer's eight-year-old knife maker granddaughter showed him one of her sketches, the two began working in Russ' workshop to refine it into Curfew™. This sleek folding knife for everyday carry has a 3.10-inch blade that unfolds smoothly and quickly thanks to Ken Onion's award-winning Assisted Opening feature.
The creations of a true outdoorsman, knife designer Russ Kommer are usually made for tough situations. And while Curfew™ is a compact device for everyday carry, its sheer versatility means it has power in your pocket. Inspired by something his eight-year-old granddaughter had drawn, Russ began working to refine the "plan" until it landed on Curfew™. Equipped with a heavy-duty 3.10-inch high-carbon steel blade, its sharp, precise blade helps you make cleaner cuts during daily chores around the home or office.
Stylistically, this folding knife does not tire the eye. The handle has an ergonomic, friendly grip and is coated with fiber resin with black anodized aluminum. And when you're ready to go, Ken Onion's assisted opening feature helps unfold the blade in a snap, while the IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system ensures super-smooth rotation.
