Condor Toki Knife 3920-4.7HC is a versatile, complete outdoor knife. Its obvious use is as a bushcraft knife, but it can also be used for survival, and even for hunting. A pleasant feature is the convex cut of the blade. This means that it has a strong edge, but it is also able to cut very nicely. We recommend planing the blade to keep the edge.

Toki was a tribal leader in Chile during the war in the 15th century. The epic poetry "La Araucana" describes its Chilean inhabitants as follows: "... the people are so unusual, so proud, brave and warlike that they have never been ruled by a king or submitted to foreign rule". This knife symbolizes the strength of these primitive warriors.

The blade of the Condor Toki knife is made of made of carbon steel 1075. It is a strong steel that is easy to sharpen and can withstand a lot of impact. However, the 1075 steel head is not stainless, so the knife needs to be cleaned regularly and a drop of oil added from time to time. The knife has a strong full tang construction. There is an indentation on the side of the handle, so it it can be used as a socket for a fire bow. There is also a a sharp edge for scraping the flint, and the Condor Toki knife is even equipped with a blacksmith's flint, which can be used to sizzle sparks using flint. In the scabbard there is a special pocket for this purpose and a case for storing a flint or sharpening stone.

The handle is made of micarta. Condor Toki knife comes in a durable leather scabbard with belt loop.

Walter A. Matthews is a specialist in survival techniques who also served for more than 20 years as an officer in the Chilean Marine Corps. In 2005, he founded the first Survival and Primitive Skills school in Chile. As a SERE Instructor, he also trained Special Forces operators in survival techniques. His tactical experience, self-reliance, primitive skills and bushcraft techniques in various places around the world give him the ability to design various types of knives and outdoor tools.
