Condor Heritage Axe
Condor Heritage Axe
Condor Heritage Axe is a versatile axe reminiscent of the most durable traditional axes. Designed for both experienced bushcrafters and outdoor enthusiasts looking for an axe for light chopping tasks, preparing firewood, etc. Simple design gives the axe a traditional look.
Beautifully decorated head the axe is made of carbon steel 1060. This means that the axe is not corrosion resistant. So always keep it dry. Nevertheless, many people quietly accept the lack of corrosion resistance, as it also has a number of advantages. It is quite easy to maintain the sharpness of carbon steel and does not dull as easily as other similar axes made of stainless steel. The edge has a convex cut. The special feature of convex grinding is that there is no longer a second micro edge, and the grinding moves straight to the cutting edge. The convex cut has a strong edge that also cuts smoothly.
The handle is made of burnt Hickory wood impregnated with linseed oil. The handle of the axe has a rough surface, so you will have a good grip. Handle signed with Condor logo, a nice touch.
The Heritage axe comes with a handmade brown leather sheath, fastened with tension. Leather blade sheath allows the tool to be safely transported in a hiking backpack or bushcraft bag.
