9Cr18MoV - chinese high-grade stainless knife steel blade, easy to sharpen. High content 18.0% chromium and medium 0.95% carbon provides excellent corrosion resistance. Presence 0.8% silicon and 1.3% molybdenum increases steel strength and wear resistance. 9Cr18MoV is characterized by high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC.
Head
Type drop point finished in Black Stonewashed. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade combined with the high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high strength.
