D2 - high carbon, high chrome high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to its high chromium content 13.0% (Cr) offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. Combination of durability, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high wear resistance due to the high content of carbides in the microstructure.

Head - type drop point finished in an elegant Satin. The generous belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The small thickness of the blade combined with the high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. Ceramic ball bearings support the smooth opening of the blade, which can be opened with a flipper flipper (index-finger flipper) that functions as a intestine.
