Benchmade - 575-1 Mini Presidio II folding knife

The Benchmade 575-1 Mini Presidio II is a smaller and upgraded version of the iconic tactical knife, featuring lighter CF-Elite plastic facings, a CPM-S30V powder-coated steel blade and a reliable axis-lock.

High-quality steel

Head drop-point with a length of 81 mm made made of CPM-S30V premium steel hardened to a hardness of 58-60 HRC. American powder steel is particularly valued for its resistance to corrosion, wear (high impact strength) and long maintenance of working sharpness.

When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient.

Perfectly sharp cutting edge, strong stab and concave grind provide aggressive cutting, and good penetration. Optimal size and low weight (90 g) make the knife perfect for use as an edc knife. Satin finish (polished) gives the wedge a modern style.

Quick unfolding
A double-sided peg is used to unfold the blade, making it easier for right- and left-handed people to operate the knife. The convenient location of the peg also allows the knife to be operated comfortably with gloves.

Knife operation and mechanisms

The knife uses Benchmade's flagship brand lock i.e. the mechanism Axis-lock valued for its tremendous resistance to dynamic loads, insensitivity to dirt and ease of handling. Strength and rigidity of the knife structure are provided by solid steel inserts (liners) with increased thickness.

Comfortable handle

The knife has profiled facings made of special CF-Elite plastic (carbon fiber reinforced nylon), which is much lighter and stiffer than, for example, G10 laminate.

The grip has a profiled shape and widens at the base of the head, thus creating a natural hilt that prevents the hand from slipping on the blade and provides a point of support for the fingers.

Slanted cutters and fine square tabs emphasize the tactical character, and provide a stable grip on the knife. Carrying the knife discreetly in your pocket is made possible by a high-mounted clip that can be flipped to the other side.
