- The blade is made of high-tech steel CPM- D2 hardened to 60-62 HRC. CPM-D2 is a powdered variation of air-hardened D2 steel, but with much better retention and a modified carbide microstructure that makes the blade outstandingly resistant to wear, impressively retains its sharpness for a long time and relatively easy to sharpen. With such parameters, CPM- D2 is a great alternative to much more expensive super steels, especially if you do not have a sizable budget. A hole in the back of the grip allows you to attach a lanyard or decorative paracord braid.
