Benchmade - 2551 Mini Reflex Folding Knife

The Benchmade 2551 Mini Reflex is an automatic edc knife featuring a CPM 154 stainless steel blade, a discreet deployment button and lightweight anodized aluminum liners.

American high quality steel

The head with a 80 mm long is made of hard 154CM tool steel, hardened to a hardness of 58-61 HRC. 154CM is a high-carbon stainless steel enriched with molybdenum, so it can be described as an improved version of 440C.

American 154CM steel is valued for its resistance to corrosion and wear (high impact strength), long maintenance of working sharpness, and relative ease of sharpening.

A slim blade with a usable drop point profile finished by satin (polishing) method. Matte blade is easier to clean and does not reflect light. Thanks to its sturdy stock and flat grind, the knife will work great as a business tool or standard edc folder.

The thickness of the wedge at its widest point is 2.5 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work.

Automatic, fast unfolding

The main advantage of the automatic knife, is comfortable and fast unfolding system. Unlike models with an assisted head, in an automatic knife, unfolding the blade only requires pressing a button, which is responsible for releasing the lock and activating the internal spring.

Folding the blade requires pushing the button again and manually retracting the blade. Such functionality makes the "automats" very popular among soldiers, uniformed service personnel and edc enthusiasts.

The release button is embedded in a milled cutout, so it does not protrude above the handle. The knife uses an additional locking device to prevent accidental pressing of the activation button and folding of the blade. The slide of the second safety mechanism is located on the back of the handle.

When using an automatic knife, it is recommended to exercise extreme caution and prudence.

Comfortable handle

The knife has ergonomic 6061-T6 anodized aircraft aluminum facings that form a monolithic unit with the backspacer. Thanks to precision 3D machining, the handle has a striking design and good grip, which is ensured by deep cutters and a shape profiled for the hand.

The black anodized coating is resistant to fading, scratching and abrasion, which guarantees the attractive appearance of the knife for a long time.

Discreet carrying of the knife in the pocket is made possible by standard fixed position clip.
