Benchmade - 163BK Bushcrafter survival knife

Benchmade Bushrafter survival knife 163BK is a version of the Benchmade 162 model made from premium materials such as cPM-Cruwear tool steel and carbon fiber.

Knife designed to meet the challenges on the hiking trail and while being in the woods. Compared to the 162 model, it has been improved blade geometry and handle ergonomics, which is so important in survival knives.

• Bushcrafter was designed by Shane Sibert, a knifemaker specializing in fixed-head knife designs. The Benchmade knife was made from a single piece of steel - a full Tang construction (full pin).
• The latest tool steel from Crucible Industries LLC - was used to build the head CPM-Cruwear hardened to a hardness as high as 63-65 HRC. With excellent wear resistance and strength, CPM-Cruwear can be described as a steel with twice the performance of the original D2 steel.
• The new formula is enriched with vanadium, tungsten and molybdenum additives, which give the steel exceptional wear resistance and allow for high hardening rates.
• The blade, with a Drop Point profile and a length of 111 mm, is coated with black Cerakote coating, which protects against minor scratches and emphasizes the tactical nature of the knife.
• The Bushcrafter fixed-head knife uses durable and ergonomic handle linings made of black carbon fiber, which is characterized by high durability and resistance to moisture.
• The facings were fixed with titanium sleeves, and red spacers were used between the facings and the pin.
• The knife fits securely in the hand and is designed for comfortable, long-term work. Additionally the rider protects the user from accidental slipping of the hand on the cutting edge of the blade.
• In the back of the handle, the manufacturer has placed a hole for attaching a rope or paracord tag.

• The user along with the EDC knife receives a sheath made of plastic allowing the knife to be carried comfortably and safely on the belt.
• The sheath has been adapted to carry the knife on the belt vertically or horizontally. On the side of the sheath there is an attachment handle for carrying a survival flint, which will make it easier for us to light a fire in the field.
