Aquamira filter water purification technology
Water purification by the WaterBasics GRN line filter is achieved using electro-positive absorption technology. Charged glass microfibers "pull" organisms as small as bacteria from the water stream while maintaining high flow velocities and low pressure drops. GRN Line filters have been thoroughly tested by independent laboratories and have been proven to consistently usuck protozoan cysts and bacteria according to ANSI/NSF standards, without the use of disinfectants such as chlorine, bromine or iodine. The addition of submicron carbon particles to the filter material increases the absorption capacity required to reduce chlorine and harmful chemicals, bad taste and odor in accordance with ANSI/NSF - 42 standards. WaterBasics GRN Line filters provide superior biological protection, high flow rates and long life in a compact, lightweight and easy-to-use cartridge.
