Old Bear World Italy L brands Antonini is a classic folder combining italian craftsmanship with functionality that meets modern user needs. The series, inspired by more than a century of knifemaking tradition from Maniago, evokes the aesthetics of past models while offering modern materials and safe design solutions. Stainless steel W.1.4060 Nitrogen, used in the manufacture of the blade, shows increased resistance to corrosion due to its nitrogen content and allows for easy sharpening and maintenance of sharpness. Subtle satin finish gives the wedge a subdued elegance and emphasizes its utilitarian character. Used in the model handle of black laminated wood has been molded in a way that promotes ergonomics, and the insert in the colors of the Italian flag adds individual character to the project and emphasizes its origin. The key design element is patented twist lock system, allowing you to securely lock the head in both the open and closed positions. Antonini Old Bear Italy L is a knife for people who appreciate natural materials, simple style line i proven mechanics. It works well as an EDC knife, a collector's gift or a practical accessory for anyone looking for a tool with soul.

Old Bear® Series - a line of luxury knives made and assembled by skilled artisans by subjecting all components to handcrafted treatments and processes that make each knife unique. Old Bear are knives without a return spring, which means that the blade locking system is based on a solid safety ring that holds the blade in the open or closed position (patented under number 1187282, in 1985 by Todesco of Maniago). The Old Bear® brand logo is etched on the wedge, and the knife itself is housed in a fashionable old-school and personalized cardboard box - the perfect gift for those living in harmony with nature.

1.4060 Nitrogen (MA5 / X35Cr16N) - high hardness martensitic nitrogen stainless steel. Conventional stainless steel, MA5 steel (X35Cr16N standard AFNOR / 1.4060 standard Wnr) is similar to X46Cr13 steel. Its main advantage is that it offers excellent corrosion resistance, as well as better hardness after heat treatment. Toughness and durability are characteristics of the universal grade. Heat treatment of MA5 / X35Cr16N / 1.4060 steel allows to achieve high hardness (up to 60 HRC), while being resistant to the aggressive marine environment.

Regular maintenance stainless steel 1.4060 (MA5 / X35Cr16N) prevents the formation of deposits i keeps its shine. It also makes it easier to remove spots and tarnish. Cleaning should be done before there is a visible layer of dirt or fingerprints, so the danger of permanent discoloration of the steel surface will be minimized. For cleaning, do not use agents that contain: chlorine, salt, acids and bleach.

Head - used stainless steel W.1.4060 Nitrogen, enriched with nitrogen to increase rust resistance and improve cutting properties. Clip point profile offers good material penetration and precise guidance, especially for tasks requiring finesse. Applied flat grind promotes cutting efficiency and ensures even force distribution along the working edge. Subtle satin finish emphasizes the classic character of the wedge and reduces the visibility of signs of use. Thanks to these parameters, the head is perfect for a wide range of tasks - from everyday work to outdoor activities.

Handle - made of laminated wood in deep black coloration has been carefully contoured to provide a firm and comfortable grip. Embedded tricolor insert (green, white, red) provides a subtle reference to the italian origin of the product. Applied viro lock system works intuitively and safely - a rotating ring allows you to lock the blade in the desired position without the use of additional buttons or springs. The finish of the handle exposes the natural grain of the material, giving the whole authentic, classic look. This is a solution for users who value durability, aesthetics and traditional style folding knives.

List of knife safety warnings based on requirements
Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety
(GPSR):
* Risk of injury: Use the knife carefully and always hold it by the handle. The blade is
very sharp and can cause serious cuts. Don't try to catch a falling
knife.
* Safe storage: the knife should be stored in a safe
place, out of reach of children and unauthorized persons. Use a blade guard if
is available.
* Use as intended: Do not use the knife for purposes for which it is not
intended, for example, for opening cans or loosening screws. This can lead to
knife damage or injury.
* Caution when cleaning: Use caution when cleaning the knife,
to avoid cuts. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that can
damage the blade.
* Blade maintenance: Sharpen the blades regularly to keep them in good condition. Blunt
knives are more dangerous than sharp ones because they require more force, which
increases the risk of slipping.
* Transporting the knife: When transporting the knife, make sure the blade is secured,
for example, by using a vagina or sheath. This prevents accidental injuries.
* Keep your knife clean: Clean the knife regularly to remove any food debris
or other contaminants. This ensures safe and hygienic use.
* Do not modify the knife: Do not try to modify the knife or repair it yourself,
if you don't have the right skills. This can lead to damage to the knife
or injuries.
* Warning for children: knives are intended for adults only. Do not allow
children to use knives without supervision.
* Disposal: Dispose of used or damaged knives in a safe manner to
prevent accidental cuts.

This product is for adults only, who have knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can lead to serious injury. The blade of the knife is very sharp and can quickly cut through skin and tissues; so always be very careful when slicing and do not bring your hand close to the cutting edge. To avoid slipping of the knife, it is recommended to cut on a stable and non-slip surface and avoid excessive pressure, which can cause uncontrolled movement of the blade.

Be aware that leaving a knife on the edge of a table, countertop or in easy-to-reach places, especially for children, is a danger. The knife should always be properly secured after finishing work, preferably by putting it down on a stable surface or storing it in specially designed blocks, sheaths or on magnetic strips. Never use a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as opening cans or using it as a lever, as this risks both damage to the tool and dangerous accidents.

Blunt blades pose an increased risk of injury because they require more force and tend to slip off the material being cut. Therefore, care should be taken to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. It is also necessary to clean and dry the tool regularly to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. It is recommended to periodically inspect the condition of the handle and blade to detect any cracks, chipping or loosening. If damage is found, the knife should be immediately repaired or replaced with a new copy.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand, avoid talking on the phone or watching TV while slicing, and make sure your work area is well-lit. You are reminded that in some countries or regions there are laws restricting the possession and carrying of knives. Before buying or using a knife, it's a good idea to make sure that using it in your location is allowed under the current law.

Adherence to the above rules will enable safe and efficient use of the knife, minimizing the risk of accidents and ensuring the long life of the tool.
